OUR PASTOR
Pastor James A. Wallace was born in Ibaraki Japan. He is the son of the late William J. Wallace and Yasuko T. Wallace of Akron, OH. He grew up as a young child in Shiloh Baptist Church Akron, Ohio where is Grandmother Viola Wallace McDaniel was the Director of Music. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age, and was baptized at the age of 16 in Shiloh Baptist Church Akron, Ohio. He has one sister and one brother both residing in Akron, Ohio. He is the husband of Evangelist Patricia Coons-Wallace they reside in the Hudson Valley NY area. They are the proud Parents of Natalie E. Wallace Elsaw and Tadashi A. Wallace and the proud grandparents of Five grandsons: Brenden and Dominic Elsaw, Cameron, Taveon, and Brayden Wallace.
Pastor Wallace is a Magnum Cum Laude graduate with two Bachelors of Science degrees one in Computer Information Systems and the other in Business Administration. He is also a Magnum Cum Laude graduate in 2004 with an MBA concentration in Management, and Graduated in 2006 with an MS in Information Systems. He has completed 24 hours towards a Masters of Arts Degree in Pastoral Counseling. James has been employed by a communications company for over 12 years and has worked in the Information Technology Industry for 25 plus years with experience in Technical Support Management, Customer Service and Help Desk Support Supervisory Roles.
Pastor Wallace was ordained as an Elder in 2010 by Bishop James Gaylord, ENY 1st Jurisdiction, COGIC. He has served in various roles in the local church and district within the Church of God in Christ as Deacon, Young Adult Sunday School Teacher and Administrative Assistant for Missions and Outreach Programs at Abundant Life Christian Center Church COGIC, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Senior High Sunday School Teacher and Member of Finance Committee, South Park COGIC, Tucson AZ. Minister and Member of the Church Finance Committee, St. James COGIC, Middletown, NY. Sunday School Teacher, Chairmen of the Men’s Department, Sunday School Superintendent and Assistant Pastor, Faith Temple COGIC, Beacon NY. Pastor Wallace founded The Living Cornerstone Ministries Inc. COGIC in Walden, NY in October 2013. His favorite scripture is Hebrews 11:1-3.
OUR FIRST LADY
Evangelist Patricia Coons-Wallace is the daughter of the late Jacob Coons, Sr. and Rosa Lee Coons of Cranbury, New Jersey. She has one sister and three brothers all residing in New Jersey. She is a second generation of Church of God in Christ her mother Rosa Lee was her Card Class Sunday School Teacher. She grew up as a young child in Morning Star Church of God in Christ under the leaderships of the late D. C. Thomas and Bishop Curley Guidry. Patricia accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 1987 at St. Paul Temple Church of God in Christ in Washington DC under the leadership of the late Bishop Warren Crudup, Sr. She has been a licensed Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ for over 15 years. She is the wife of Pastor James Wallace, she and her husband reside in the Hudson Valley NY area. They are the proud Parents of Natalie E. Wallace Elsaw and Tadashi A. Wallace and the proud grandparents of five grandsons: Brenden and Dominic Elsaw, Cameron, Taveon and Brayden Wallace.
Evangelist Wallace holds a BA in Elementary Education and is a Magnum Cum Laude graduate with an MBA in Management. She has completed 33 hours of Counseling from a School of Divinity. Patricia has been employed by a major computer company for over 25 years, in various management and leadership positions.
Evangelist Wallace is a member of The Living Cornerstone Ministries Inc. COGIC in Walden, NY under the leadership of her husband Pastor James Wallace. She has served in various roles in the local church and district level within the Church of God In Christ, District Missionary, Sunday School Teacher, YPWW Teacher, New Members Orientation Teacher, and Administrative Assistant for Missions and Outreach Programs, President of the Women’s Department. District Business and Professional Women Federation President Upper Hudson District (Kingston NY), District Evangelism Chairlady Southern District (Tucson AZ), District YPWW Chair Holy Spirit District (Detroit MI), and District BPWF President Greater Central District and Triangle District (Raleigh NC). Patricia enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She has a passion for people and a heart for women, she enjoys sharing the goodness of Jesus with everyone she meets. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6.
